He is Gone

You can shed tears that he is gone,
Or you can smile because he lived,
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see him
Or you can be full of the love that you shared,
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember him and only that he is gone
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on,
You can cry and close your mind be empty and turn your
back,
Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes,
love and go on.

Tony- The Angel who walked among us.

Tony -
I met you about 10 years ago and dont think I ever saw you without a smile on your face. You didnt have the best of health but never frowned or complained. You idolised your family and doted on Barbara, I can only hope that my marriage can be as loving as yours and that my family are as close as yours where and still are. You will never be forgotten.

Love lots
Shari (Now Spowart cos Im married - to A GEORDIE!!!!!)
xxxxxxxx
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

25th Wedding anniversary

A special tribute to a special person on our Silver wedding anniversary.

Your life is a beautiful memory
Your death is a silent grief,
You sleep in Gods beautiful garden,
In sunshine of perfect peace,
I miss you owe so much
But realise God knew best
He let me have you many years
Then gently bid you rest.

Barbara Ogden (Wife) September 28, 2009

I mention your name,
And speak of you often,
God bless you Tony,
You are not forgotten.

Missing you a little extra today

Time has stood still for those who love you,
the grief is still fresh, their hearts are still blue.
Memories can ease pain but they never can fill,
the space that is left when they think of you still.

So stay near to those who miss you each day,
for they carry a sadness since you went away.
Send the strength to cope where others have tried,
and some love for their hearts that hurt deep inside.
